SCULPTURE STUDIO COORDINATOR, Anderson Ranch Arts Center

May 2011 – February 2016 | Snowmass village, colorado

Programmed and coordinated 12 week summer workshop series. Hired and oversaw interns. Organized and maintained metal working studio. Managed four artist-in-residence sessions. Assisted visiting instructors with planning and teaching multi-week workshops. Founded Booth Gallery.

Designed, constructed, repaired and improved properties in Croatia, Manhattan, New Hampshire, Minnesota, Montana, and Oregon. Proficient with all current stationary, power, and hand tools. Experienced with a wide range of paint and tile processes.

 

CARPENTER, Ponderosa Builders

January 2007 –  December 2009 | Bozeman, Montana

Constructed two homes in Bozeman’s historic district. Implemented foundation form work, rough framing, setting windows, exterior trim and soffit, siding, decking. Took charge of wood flooring installation, interior trim, crown moulding, construction of built-ins, mantles, and finish staircase work.

DESIGNER/BUILDER, Itsamix

January 2002 –  December 2009 | Bozeman, Montana

Designed and fabricated a wide variety of projects such as steel gates, theater ceilings,

wood and steel conference tables, various signage, Airstream trailer remodel and point of purchase displays. Supervised laborers, delegated tasks, and maintained project efficiency.

2001 – 2002 | Bozeman, Montana

Instructed advanced architecture students. Planned and conducted formal critiques of student designed furniture projects. Demonstrated safety standards of cabinet shop machinery, joinery and finishing techniques. Organized and installed student gallery shows.

Setup a new computer oriented shop. Oversaw hand build projects, operation and maintenance of vintage woodworking machinery.

1995 – 1996 | Kohler, Wisconsin

Liaison between visiting artists and the factory floor in Kohler’s iron foundry. Provided material and technical iron casting expertise to visiting artists. Responsible for facilities orientation and maintenance of equipment. Developed and produced a body of work informed by the artistic and industrial context of Kohler.
